News About Helicopter Ticket Booking Open for Kedarnath Yatra by IRCTC from 1st April, is it true or not? and Let know how to book ticket 

Kedarnath Dham is one of the most visited shrines in Chardham India. Kedarnath comes among the 12 Jyotirlinga of India. IRCTC has announced the Helcopter Ticket booking for Kedarnath will be started by 1st of April but the Date is not confirmed. Now it is up to IRCTC when booking will be started?

The Helicopter reservations can be made online beginning tomorrow, April 1st. Using IRCTC website, devotees can reserve a helicopter for Kedarnath Dham. IRCTC is offering pilgrims to Kedarnath Dham the ability to charter a helicopter for the first time. By March 31st, the platform's trial for online reservations was to be finished, and reservations could then begin on April 1st.


In reality, an MoU was signed between the IRCTC and the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority. Following that, IRCTC would offer a helicopter booking services for Kedarnath for the first time. Previously, GMVN was handling all of the Kedarnath Dham helicopter bookings. Till last year , there were 09 helicopter companies  from Phata , Sersi & Guptkashi to Kedarnath operated by this mentioned origins. 


How to Book Ticket

This time, pilgrims travelling to Kedarnath Dham may reserve a helicopter through IRCTC and get darshan. Pilgrims  must visit the IRCTC website ( https://heliyatra.irctc.co.in )to do so. After registering online with government registration portal (https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in/), Pilgrims would be able to book a helicopter for Kedarnath through IRCTC. For the sake of ensuring ticket booking transparency and preventing black marketing, IRCTC has been tasked with making helicopter reservations for Kedarnath Dham. Keep in mind that only after online registration Pilgrims will be able to book a helicopter ticket. Particularly, this year Kedarnath Dham's doors will open on April 25. Pilgrims  to darshan Kedarnath Dham will need to register and pass a medical examination. The pilgrims will need to registration with the organisation before scheduling the helicopter service.
